As a small business our primary carbon emissions are from vehicle use, refrigeration, heating and lighting, packaging, waste.
The aim is to reduce vehicle emissions by 20% through route planning and partial hybrid use by end 2026
Scale composting efforts and educate clients on home compost options end 2026
Switch 70% packaging to recycled-only materials end 2027
Increase the foliage varieties grown in the cutting garden end 2026
Increase the accent flowers in the cutting garden end 2026
Avoid dyed or bleached flowers once stock depleted.
Reduce floral foam-dependant displays and increase use of chicken wire and moss (ethically sourced) end 2026
Switch to soy based inks for cards once ink stock depleted.
Harvest more water from installation of more water butts at the same time reduce water when conditioning flowers 2026
